Limestone, Marble, Slate Polishing & Restoration

The processes of hard floor restoration between marble, limestone, sandstone or granite does not differ much. Although granite is hardest amongst these, their restoration also will go through the tough floor grinding preparation and follow through the polishing.

Floor Preparation

This part of restoration is the most powerful and dynamic. It aims to the rough crack and dents removal and flattening the floors. This is achieved by floor grinding and leveling floor. Even newly laid marble tile floor can have dislocation of some tiles causing uneven floor level. During this process all ledges and roughness and will be removed bringing flatness your natural stone floors. The process of grinding the floor will also remove the deepest scratches and stains.

Honing the Floors

Honing is the step of floor restoration which provides the smoothing of the marble / limestone / sandstone floors with industrial diamonds, bringing up more shine. Honing will also remove scratches, stains and give a more uniform appearance. In some cases honing of the floors is all that’s needed to get you stone looking spectacular again.

Marble, Limestone and Sandstone Polishing

Floor polishing gives semi-shining or shining effect to the marble floor. Floor polishing is done by industrial diamonds, but smaller graded, than while honing. For marble floors in good condition a polishing can be enough to bring back the shine.

Crystalisation of Marble and Limestone

The crystallization is a method of marble or limestone floor finishing. It brings "mirror like" shine by chemical reaction on the surface of marble. Crystallization also creates micro film on the surface of marble, which is more solid and durable and helps to preserve the color and the brightness of the marble. Crystallization is a very good method for regular stone maintenance.
